HCA has a long history of funding fellowships and scholarships.
Our fellowships and scholarships are designed to give outstanding Australians an opportunity to further their education at Harvard. They also fund Harvard professors to come to Australia to work on collaborative projects with Australian researchers.
The Group’s educational initiatives include:
The Menzies Scholarship – an annual award since 1967 of up to US$50,000 to fund postgraduate study at Harvard University;
The Australia-Harvard Fellowships – funding to support the interchange of senior researchers between Harvard University and leading research institutions in Australia;
The Non Profit Fellowships – an annual fellowship that enables two Australian non profit chiefs to attend the landmark non profit management program at Harvard Business School;
The Roberta Sykes Scholarship – funding to enable talented Indigenous Australians to undertake up to two years postgraduate study at Harvard;
The Sir James Wolfensohn Public Service Scholarship – funding senior Australian public servants to attend an executive education program at the Harvard Kennedy School; and
The Public Education Foundation’s Harvard Club of Australia Education Scholarship – funding to enable two government primary or secondary school principals to attend a short professional program at the Harvard Graduate School of Education
Scholarships for the Principals Centre in Australia - 50 scholarships are available to Principals leading government schools in disadvantage communities and/or regional and remote parts of Australia to attend the Principals Centre in Sydney, January 2020. Frank Knox Memorial Fellowships - funding for students from Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the United Kingdom for graduate study at Harvard
