SCHOLARSHIPS
HCA has a long history of funding fellowships and scholarships.
Our fellowships and scholarships are designed to give outstanding Australians an opportunity to further their education at Harvard. They also fund Harvard professors to come to Australia to work on collaborative projects with Australian researchers.
The Group’s educational initiatives include:
- The Menzies Scholarship – an annual award since 1967 of up to US$50,000 to fund postgraduate study at Harvard University;
- The Australia-Harvard Fellowships – funding to support the interchange of senior researchers between Harvard University and leading research institutions in Australia;
- The Non Profit Fellowships – an annual fellowship that enables two Australian non profit chiefs to attend the landmark non profit management program at Harvard Business School;
- The Roberta Sykes Scholarship – funding to enable talented Indigenous Australians to undertake up to two years postgraduate study at Harvard;
- The Sir James Wolfensohn Public Service Scholarship – funding senior Australian public servants to attend an executive education program at the Harvard Kennedy School; and
- The Public Education Foundation’s Harvard Club of Australia Education Scholarship – funding to enable two government primary or secondary school principals to attend a short professional program at the Harvard Graduate School of Education
- The Clive Gard Scholarship - for current financial Harvard Club of Australia Members to win a fully funded place at the HCA Leadership Program
- Harvard Club of Victoria Non Profit Fellowships - The Harvard Club of Victoria provides funding to up to 3 CEO's of non-profit organisations based in Victoria to attend the one week Harvard Business School program Strategic Perspectives in Nonprofit Management ("SPNM")current financial Harvard Club of Australia Members to win a fully funded place at the HCA Leadership Program

In addition to HCA’s scholarships, there are a number of other scholarships available to Australians intending to undertake a program of study at Harvard University. These include the Frank Knox Memorial Fellowships which provide:
