On May 9 this year, Sydney members and friends of the Yale Club of Australia will celebrate our community spirit at Glebe Justice Centre. We join 4,000+ other participants in 20 countries and US Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor serving as the honorary chair of the 2015 Yale Day of Service, in contributing our time, skills and energy to the common good.
What we will do
We will help make Glebe Justice Centre an attractive place to visit, work, and socialise again - a place that positively contributes to increasing access to justice via mediation, youth employment and community development; and enables further work with indigenous and local disadvantaged people. Our tasks for the day will include bathroom makeover (painting and decorating), gardening (pruning, weeding, clearing) and kitchen and basement clean-out (sorting, carting, recycling). Everyone is welcome to come and help out, please bring friends and family.
Email info@yaleclub.org.au with the subject line Yale Day of Service RSVP by Sat 2 May 2015.

Comfortable clothes and shoes! Let's really get in the spirit and wear Yale shirts and caps if you have any! If you want to represent another school, that's cool.
