Harvard Club of Australia: 2016 Leadership Program
24-29 July 2016, Aitken Hill Conference Centre
Helping Leaders Make Better Business Decisions
All business leaders, regardless of their functional domain, need an understanding of what drives firm value, this includes a core set of financial tools and a fluency in financial concepts which drive rigour in decision making.
Through a combination of case studies, interactive lectures, and both small and large group discussions, this program is designed to deliver essential financial skills to senior executives in non-finance functions in a very hands-on way. It is also appropriate, however, for corporate advisors (consultants, accountants, and lawyers) and financial executives who are seeking to deepen their understanding financial of modern corporate finance.
The program will include three modules—making better investment decisions, managing profitable growth, and driving corporate performance—all designed to clarify the link between critical business decisions and value creation. After the program, participants should be better equipped to make operating and strategic decisions, to communicate effectively across functional domains, to act with greater confidence and conviction, and to assume more senior leadership positions.
