An exclusive MBA graduate event at Parliament House
Be part of the excitement when 300 MBA graduates from the world's top 30 Business Schools, including the AGSM, meet at NSW Parliament House this November. A networking event of the highest order, this prestigious evening will have you connecting with Sydney-based MBA graduates from Harvard, INSEAD, Chicago Booth and other elite business schools from around the world.
Over drinks and canapes, form new relationships with fellow MBA graduates and reunite with your former classmates.
Guest speaker for the evening is Mark Carnegie, founder of venture capital, private equity and alternative asset management firm, M.H. Carnegie & Co.
Mark has more than 30 years experience as an entrepreneur, investor and corporate adviser in New York, London and Sydney. He co-founded leading Australian boutique corporate advisory, venture capital and private equity firm Carnegie, Wylie & Co with John Wylie in 2000 which was later acquired by leading Wall Street bank, Lazard Inc.
He's been called 'the Ali G of business' and 'the bear in the boardroom' - what's certain is that Mark Carnegie is a true original among business leaders. A contrarian who has argued for higher taxes for the rich, for greater social responsibility and compulsory non-military civil service in Australia, don't miss this chance to see Mark in conversation with fellow iconoclast, Cheryl Kernot.
Cheryl Kernot is a former Senator, Member of Parliament and Leader of the Australian Democrats. She is now Director of the Graduate Certificate in Social Impact and Social Business Fellow at the Centre for Social Impact, UNSW.
