Lynette has three decades of international business experience in senior leadership roles in the USA, Asia and Australia. As CEO of Lend Lease Corporate Financial Services she took the fledgling group to number one in three years and subsequently expanded its financial services business to Asia. As CEO of Lend Lease IT+T Investments she held numerous non-executive director roles on those boards, including IBM Global Services Australia, Advantra Network Services, Sitel Asia Pacific and coolsavings.com in the USA. She is currently owner and Executive Chair of Work Wear World, a leading provider of work wear to major Australian and international companies.
Lynette has always been passionate about helping others, especially women, in achieving their dreams. She represents Australia at APECs Women and the Economy Forum; is a member of Chief Executive Women and co-directs the Chief Executive Women Leaders Program, which was recently expanded to Asia; and helps with a female leadership program funded by the Asian Development Bank in the Pacific.
She has written two books; has an MBA in Finance from New York University; was presented with an innovation award by Hilary Clinton in the USA; was the first Australian to receive a World Business Assembly Socrates Award in Rome; the second Australian to receive an International Women Entrepreneurs Challenge award in Sweden; was awarded a centenary medal by the Australian government for leadership, and this year received an order of Australia.
