At our next Monday Club luncheon we are honored to have as our guest speaker Alex Greenwich, Independent State member for Sydney. Alex will discuss the issues on the horizon for the inner city and his work to ensure Sydney has a safe and sustainable future. He will discuss his interests in protecting the natural and urban environments, open space and Sydney’s unique heritage; retaining inner city social and affordable housing, and improving transport options.

About Alex Greenwich
Alex Greenwich was elected Independent Member for Sydney in October 2012, one of the youngest MPs. He was previously a small business owner and a nationally recognised community activist. Alex studied at the University of New South Wales and the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and remains an active member for many community and advocacy groups. As an Independent State member he has worked across varying portfolios with a focus on ensuring government transparency and accountability. He has lived in Sydney for more than 20 years and comes from an international family background.
